This Privacy Policy describes how BurnSense (“the Application,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles your information. We build BurnSense with a strict privacy-first architecture: your data belongs to you, and it stays on your device.
BurnSense is designed to operate completely offline without requiring user accounts or cloud servers.
No Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, process, or store personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, IP address, or location.
No Financial Data Access: We do not collect bank account information, credit card details, or sensitive transaction histories. Any subscription costs or notes you enter into the app are strictly stored locally on your device.
No Analytics or Tracking: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, behavioral tracking tools, or advertising frameworks to track your activity across apps or websites.
No Account Creation: Using BurnSense requires no sign-up, login, or credentials.
Local Data Storage: All subscription data, costs, renewal dates, and preferences you enter are stored exclusively on your device using native local storage (UserDefaults).
Zero Remote Servers: BurnSense operates entirely on-device and does not transmit your subscription data to any external or cloud-based servers managed by us.
BurnSense does not collect or solicit personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no personal data is collected or transmitted, BurnSense is safe for use by all age groups.
Because BurnSense processes and stores all data locally on your device, your data is protected by your device’s native operating system security, passcodes, and hardware encryption.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications will be posted directly to this document within our GitHub repository with an updated “Last Updated” date.
