VaultQR is built with an absolute commitment to user privacy and data security. This privacy policy governs your use of the VaultQR mobile application (“Application”).
1. Zero Data Collection & Storage
VaultQR operates on a 100% local, zero-server architecture.
- No Cloud Storage: We do not own, lease, or operate any external servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure.
- No Data Harvesting: We do not collect, monitor, track, store, scrape, or transmit any data you enter into the Application.
- Absolute Isolation: Your encrypted entries never leave your physical iPhone via any network data pipelines owned or managed by VaultQR.
2. Apple Secure Enclave & Biometrics
VaultQR leverages native iOS hardware security protocols to handle your biometric authentication (Face ID or Touch ID).
- Isolation: All biometric processing is executed directly inside the hardware-isolated Apple Secure Enclave.
- Zero Visibility: The Application cannot see, read, access, or store your actual face prints or fingerprint data.
3. Local Keychain & App Sandbox
All data entries, notes, or credentials generated inside the Application are encrypted and stored locally within your device’s secure iOS Keychain or isolated app sandbox.
- Operating System Security: This local directory is protected at the root iOS level, ensuring no other third-party apps installed on your device can inspect or access VaultQR’s local database.
4. Physical Backups (QR Codes)
Because your data is stored 100% locally and offline, VaultQR does not maintain account recoveries or cloud backups. If you lose your device, your local digital vaults are unrecoverable.
- User Responsibility: You hold the absolute physical backup via the encrypted QR codes you choose to print or export. Accessing these backups requires physical ownership of the printed QR code along with your device’s biometric verification.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be made available by updating the text directly within the Application or listing metadata. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
